To sell a book

  1. Log in to your account or register
  2. Submit the details of the book you want to sell
  3. We send you an email to notify you of a sale
  4. Package and send the book to the buyer
  5. Your account is credited with £3.00

By helping us to recycle and reuse books, you'll not only be saving existing trees, we'll actually plant new ones. That's because we donate 5p from every sale to the Woodland Trust and their 'Plant a Tree' scheme.

Buying a Book

Registering is quick, easy and costs nothing. Once you've logged in, just add the books you want to your basket and proceed to checkout. All our books are sold at the incredibly low price of just £3.75 with free delivery on all standard size paperbacks, and no minimum order value. The price you see is the price you pay - there are no hidden charges.

Selling a Book

Selling your books at GreenMetropolis.com couldn't be simpler. There's no need to enter all the book details (we've already done that for you). Just logon and enter the book's ISBN number (usually found on the back of the book) and its condition. We'll then enter the book into our bookstore for sale. There's no charge made for listing books, so you really don't have anything to lose. And since we pay you £3.00 for every book sold, you've only got cash to gain. Once the book is sold, we notify you by e-mail of where to send the book and credit your account.

If the book is a large paperback or hardback, you can also add a postage payment to the book, and receive this in addition to your £3.00 book credit.

Remember by buying and selling with GreenMetropolis.com not only are you helping us to recycle and reuse books, which helps save existing trees, you'll also be helping us plant new trees, by supporting the great work of the Woodland Trust in helping to conserve, restore and re-establish our country's native woodlands.
